Moodle is an open-source Learning Management System (LMS) that provides educators with the tools and features to create and manage online courses. It allows educators to organize course materials, create quizzes and assignments, host discussion forums, and track student progress. Moodle is highly flexible and can be customized to meet the specific needs of different institutions and learning environments.

Our course in Dressmaking, particularly under the unit of competency “Prepare and Cut Materials of Casual Apparel,” focuses on developing the essential skills and knowledge needed to properly handle and prepare fabrics before cutting. It covers the identification of fabric types, understanding of design specifications, and application of accurate measuring and marking techniques according to workplace standards. Through this unit, learners gain hands-on experience in organizing materials, laying out patterns, and cutting fabrics precisely to produce quality garments that meet design and client requirements.

This course is delivered through our Moodle e-learning platform, which provides a flexible and interactive learning environment. Students can access learning materials, video demonstrations, and assessments anytime and anywhere, allowing them to learn at their own pace.
